SHORT HISTORY
Our quest related to bamboo and its broad potential uses started roughly around 2002/3, in the state of Kerala, South India. In the period mentioned before we were conducting training programs on practical building/construction skills and materials, Next to the regular skills and construction materials in use by carpentry, masonry activities etc.,the use of timber, bamboo and rammed earth e.o. was Introduced
During the following period between 2003 to 2016 we collected a large amount of practical knowledge and experience using bamboo, timber, rammed earth, e.o. applied in regular, commercial construction projects at various locations in India (Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu)
Presently we are based in Europe (the Netherlands), promoting European large scale bamboo plantations This bamboo is mainly used for a wide range of industrial (fibre) applications. Although based in Europe we still consult architects and builders in India, or any other place for that matter, concerning the application of constructional bamboo, timber and earth,
e.o. in construction.
